Lacking considerations of overall system architecture is the chief defect in traditional network security field, which leads to the security devices are difficult to management. To solve the tough problem,a system called Security Anywhere has been build.Considering the tradeoff of performance and price, let embedded system construct the basic security device node. As a kind of computer for special purpose, embedded system is famous of flexibility. With the development of technology, embedded system is applied in many fields. Comparison between embedded system and common PC shows distinguishing features in development of embedded system. The environment needed by development embedded system has been build.Leaving every security device separately is not a wise solution in network security design. Many security devices work together, which could be significantly arise the security level. A concept of allying every security nodes is a good idea. Based on this concept, a system called Security Anywhere has been implemented. The system aims at redeeming defects of normal security system, which security device do its job alone. In the Security Anywhere system, every security device is regarded as the node of whole system. All nodes are scheduled by center system. The whole system constructs a kingdom of security. To control the security nodes effectively, a communication protocol called EUDP is developed, which based on UDP. By overcoming the nature defects of UDP, EUDP can provide reliability, confidentiality and high efficiency. The testing result shows the protocol's effectiveness.Embedded system testbed involve: R3000 Serial CPU based on MIPS,64M SDRAM,16M Flash. The implementation archives the design goal, which can be proved by the result of experiment.
