Free-space optical communication is a prospective technology at present. The atmosphere laser communication is it's realizing specifically on earth, and is one of the methods that solve the problem of "The Last One Kilometer" in access network. It is a system easy to be implemented, immediately untilized and is one of the most cost effective broadband wireless solution that we have seen to date. The atmospheric laser communication technology is primarily feathered by flexible access method and low cost in short distance, compared to fiber transmission capacity, and can be widely applied in the fields of intelligence building and military. The technology of transmission of laser is one of the core technologies of atmosphere laser communication. This paper makes in detail discussing to the laser transmission subsystem combining one set of 155Mbps point-to-point wireless optical communication equipment.Explained systematic conceptual design at first, the every part of the system is made simple discussing and analysis in this section. Next, the paper discusses the optical transmission communication subsystem in detail that is laser transmission unit,control unit. And the performance of system is also analysized. Among this part the key technologies such as automatic power control (APC) and VCSEL in laser transmission module, coupling between laser transmission module and optical fibre made detailed analysis. Finally, every part of the system is tested and the results of the entire system test are given. In software design, the paper focuses on popular embedded real-time operating system μC/OS-II, its transplanting on C8051F015 on-chip-system. And combine the function of optical network management module, writing some board support package (BSP). Designing the software based on this operating system and BSP on the whole finally. Finally, further improvements for the system have been summarized and the application prospect of some core technologies has been provided.
