This thesis discusses the systems analysis and design process of the Enterprise Resources Planning based on the Unified Modeling Language. Based on main design methods and ideas of the UML, every stage of the ERP development is studied deeply, and some of subsystems are implemented with program. Main work includes:Firstly, by explaining the problems of the existing ERP systems software in manufacturing industry, this thesis has analyzed the necessity of modeling in the systematic design of ERP systems, summarized characteristic of UML and the process of modeling with UML. Then, this thesis has divided ERP into modules, finished the principle modeling analysis and design for the whole ERP systematic and system framework. The purpose is held macroscopically by the overall design, the business and the associate relationship of the main modular in ERP systems is reflected fully.Based on the UML modeling process theory, following the characteristic that drives with use-case of the UML, the workflow of Modeling is described in details, which includes demanding stage, analyzing stage, designing stage, realizing stage and the etc. this thesis also takes the production control analysis design in ERP systems as an example. Database is the key element of the ERP system, the flow of the database design is analyzed, the ways of mapping from object-oriented database to object relation database is discussed mainly during designing. The design of the database for basic data subsystem in ERP systems is taken as an example. To be convenient for group team development design, the systematic user interface is unified. Finally, produce management subsystem and basic data subsystem are implemented with program, a conclusion is drawn for full text, and it is pointed out the research direction in ERP system developing in the future.
