NO.7 Signaling Central Monitoring System Technological Research In GSM System

No.7 signaling network is the important part of corresponding network, and it is one of the most important support network in that the communication networks develop toward the direction of digitization, intelligentizing, integrating, bandwidth increasing and personalization. With the increasing of user number and the enhancing of their demands to the quality of mobile communication, it is the stringent requirement of mobile communications service providers to set up No.7 signaling monitoring system in order to guarantee mobile communication networks maintenance and optimization. At present, No.7 signaling monitoring system is the most advanced and perfect monitoring means. Through monitoring No.7 signaling system, we can obtain the detail information data of the network, monitor and measure the network operation and service quality, locate and analyze malfunction, statistic and analyze the calls, track users, maneuver resource and so on. Thus we can solve all the problems earlier in the communication network, improve circuit utilization efficiency and switch on efficiency in order to win the users and occupy markets. It is important to monitor mobile application part in mobile signaling monitoring system because it has important value in offering information about network status to service providers, to help service providers analyze services relating to roaming, switching and position renewing, and to optimize the network.In order to discuss how to set up No.7 signaling monitoring system, No.7 signaling system's mechanism, characteristic and technological specification were first described and analyzed in this paper. In this dissertation, the keystone of research was focused on the technological scheme of the centralized No.7 signaling monitoring system for GSM. The system requirements, the general structure, signaling data accessing, collecting and processing were studied. In signaling data accessing part, the used methods are monitoring signaling link directly, convergent monitoring by using outer DXC equipment, switching and STP equipment's convergent monitoring and mixed methods using above methods to adapt to the different circs. In signaling data collecting part, the collecting content is all sided and systematic. In signaling data processing part it adopts layered and modularized design. So the system's veracity is high, and it can be maintained centrally, expanded smoothly and connected with other supporting systems easily. The founded No.7 signaling monitoring system has relatively perfect function. Especially in providing the mobile services, It provides analysis of MAP operational quality tendency, the contrast analysis of operational quality in several days, analysis of MAP services general quality and the pandect analysis of the operational mistakes. The application has been realized to maintain signaling network centrally, monitor network, develop and maintain new services, dig new services' increasing point, improve quality of big clients' service, monitor unlawful management, larcenous phone and deceitful action, analyze network's economic efficiency, optimize network, analyze pre alarm and so on. It has achieved expected effect.
