With the 2-dimension compression in range and azimuth, SAR(Synthetic Aperture Radar) has a very high resolution and anti-jamming ability. SAR image is a 2-dimension record of surface reflecting character. SAR countermeasures has become an important field in the Information Warfare, while the evaluation of the jamming-effectiveness to SAR is the key point in the research of the SAR countermeasures.First, the imaging theory of SAR and scene character of surface were introduced. Then the effectiveness of noise jamming on SAR is studied, including the synthetic SNR and the relation of the image error probability and the radiometric resolution with the synthetic SNR under the condition of noise jamming.In the following segment, the effectiveness and evaluation criterion of noise jamming on SAR is studied. Based on the relation between the SAR image error probability and the synthetic SNR. the reasonable blanket factor is concluded. At the same time, a new method which use shelter-range (area) to evaluate the jamming effectiveness on SAR is brought forward, the jamming equation of SAR is derived, and the correlation curve of shelter-range (area), RCS of sheltered target and the jamming power are also given.Finally, from the theory of SAR, the dot target and distributed target signal model are analyzed and the simulation system of SAR signal processing/jamming is set up. The analysis of the effectiveness of jamming on SAR demonstrates the previous conclusions.There are three original points in this dissertation: firstly, the relation between the SAR image error probability and the jamming effectiveness on SAR were founded; secondly, the evaluation criterion of noise jamming on SAR is brought forward; thirdly, the simulation system for SAR signal processing/jamming is set up.To sum up, this dissertation is valuable for jamming effectiveness evaluation on SAR, and the simulation system can serve as an important reference and great instruction for SAR countermeasures research.
