Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) is the product of modern science and technology and brings a radical change to the function of radar. Over the past few years, spaceborne and airborne SAR systems have experienced a rapid development for its all-weather and high resolution capabilities. SAR has been widely used in diverse fields of civil and military such as geophysical exploration, resources exploitation, military reconnaissance and maneuvering, etc. More and more technological workers domestically and abroad have devoted themselves to research activities in this area. This paper delves into the research of SAR jamming technology from two sides. First, author studies oppressive jamming technology of SAR based on its system gain, analyses its fundamental theory and jamming mechanism, programs an integral simulation software which produces noise data of several kinds, at the same time carries out many simulation experiments under different noise-to-signal ratio of each noise type, then makes in-depth analysis and comparison on those images resulting from simulation experiments and summarizes some conclusions of theoretical and practical value. In the end, author studies some measures to evaluate jamming effects, and evaluates jamming effects quantitatively by detecting image quality index of SAR.On the other hand, author continues to study deceptional jamming technology of SAR with point-target. Author simulates original data of single point & multipoint based on the theoretical model of SAR echo and processes these data by Range-Doppler imaging algorithm, likewise carries out deceptional jamming technology with point-target by simulation experiments. In addition, author succeeds in proposing a simpler and feasible method to resolve the location problem of deceptional jamming...
