The Research Of The Network Smart Card Reader-Writer Based On Ethernet

To realize Internet in embedded system is the hot spot of present time. But now ,most embedded system is by way of the mutual connection of RS232/485 bus or CAN bus and PC.The paper background study of Internet read/write unit represents and analyses TCP/IP suit for realizing network communication in embedded environment. Then, we design a networking IC card terminal units that makes use of sst89c54-MCU, NIC of Ethernet and relative peripheral interface circuit. It can be linked the Internet through the Ethernet. On software, we simplify TCP/IP suit, including UDP, ICMP, IP and ARP,made it run in 8-bit MCU, to implement the reading and writing functions of IC Card. Because the reliability of UDP protocol is not well, The author design a protection-mechanism of reliability transmission which is going on from networking IC card terminal units to pc.The networking IC card terminal units designed in the research job aim at given direction, Which pass through some improvement can widely used in IC card applied system which Communication system based on Ethernet.
