Technology Of Special RF Resource For Entreating ESM System

Electronic Support Measure (ESM) system has the function of threat detection and the area monitor to locate and identify the Radio Frequency Source (RFS). Recently, the parameters of many of our RF resource in south east coast are acquired by enemy's EMS system. So countermeasures need to be taken. Different from the past passive countermeasures, a thoroughly new thinking is given by XX ECCM group, which can jam the enemies' ESM system positively. According to this thinking, the positive ECCM system needs a special RF resource, which includes the RFS frequency integrator, control panel and some signal models which can confront the ESM system. This article describes:1. According to the defect of ESM system, several signal models designs aregiven.Totally, four signal models are described in this article based on difference design methods. (1) Generate mass of pseudo radar signals to overload the ESM classifier. (2) Add the pseudo information to the classification parameters and identification parameters to disturb the enemy's ESM classifier. (3) Generate specific pseudo Radar signals which is synchronized with the real radar signal and have the same frequency with the real radar signal. (4) Enhance the signal environment density, and enlarge the overleap possibility of the protected radar signals and the pseudo radar signals.2. Introduce the theory of the RFS frequency integratorRFS makes the enemy's ESM system confused by sending the disturbing signals, and it has the ability of sending signals of various types. It uses a normal digital, low phase noise and frequency agile Phase Locked Loop (PLL) to integrate with Frequency n power multiplication generated from the reference crystal oscillator in extend-frequency shift loop. The frequency multiplication is generated from Harmonic mixer in the Frequency multiplication loop circuit, and it can realize the wide band frequency agile.3. The design of the control panel software and hardware.Control Panel controls the RFS to generate signals with different parameters according the signal model. By using the control panel, the style and density of the single can be changed flexibly and easily.
