Study Of Data/Model Management For Collaborative Simulation Platform On Virtual Prototype

There are a great deal of data including simulation model, the simulation result data and kinds of media data in collaborative simulation environment. These data are distributed located sometimes. As a result, it's hard to analyze and manage models. In collaborative simulation, we need organize and manage model object and simulation data, and need model base to support modeling and simulation process.This article bases on the CMS/863 program "complex product VP study based on collaborative design and concurrent engineer" and NFSC program "Research on Multidisciplinary Modeling for Complex Product in Virtual Prototyping Environment". It is oriented over loading high-speed train, inherits and uses for reference the successful technology of Concurrent Engineering. The article mainly researches management methods and technique on all kinds of data, models, tools, processes and persons in complex product virtual prototype.In the research on model analysis and representation, I do some analysis and summarization on model feature in collaborative simulation according to the demand of collaborative simulation, and conclude the features of complex product. On the base of these features, I study the model representations in current engineering domain. An improved object-oriented model representation is proposed using the combination of model dictionary and model structure.In the research on system structure of model base, I do some research on current model base structure, and have a compare between two-tower and three-tower structure, and point out their advantages and disadvantages. The structure of collaborative simulation model base studied in tsinghua CIMS/ERC is introduced. The composition and system structure of model base supporting collaborative simulation are expatiated.In the research on data management technique of model base for collaborative simulation, I analyze some features of model base, and investigate the management of model attribute and the storage, release of model base, and thoroughly study the version management of model. I do some research on data consistence and common concurrency control. Then give the concurrency control for collaborative process.In the research on the integration between simulation model base and collaborative simulation platform, I discuss the integration problem between group management, project management, workflow management, simulation model base and simulation plat in personal workspace plat. At last, I give the design and realization of model base according to my research.
