Jiangsu Broadcasting Group made great development through courageous research and reform, Many beneficial attempts also bring influential demonstration affects to other provincial broadcasting groups. Collectivization is one of its our main measures of reform and development. However, there are many problems in its development, which include too high percentage of advertising, lack of other incomes, only focus in main industry, ignoring development in related industrial chains, week consciousness of the cost, lack of scientific verifying and calculating, the management level in great need to improve, and the unavailable knowledge management.The biggest problem our group now faces is how to survive and develop better under present system. In my opinion, there are four measures for development in the realistic environment. First, set up smooth industry chain, market chain, focus thoroughly in the six major chains of industry chain, dredge and coordinate them. Second, create the industry of characteristic content basing on local culture of Jiangsu. Third, improve construction of Transmission company, and enlarge the use and development of high technology. Fourth, ally with other groups and become a regional group. Jiangsu Broadcasting Group can seek the chance of cooperating with other TV organizations from inside the province, outside the province, even abroad. This is our countermeasure of development, and it is also of great use to the development of other provincial broadcasting groups.
