Because terminals distribute abroad, ISP can release various charged information service by it, for an example, the recently advertisement of PHS, these bring big increment operation room to ISP.The biggest excellence of the design for this information terminal is the choosing of the prevail embedded processor in hardware(ARM7 series chips), it adopting the Nucleus embedded operation system which providing fountain codes and can be cut out and customized in bottom. It provides the service of entranting to Internet conveniently by using the far-supply ability and characteristics of ISDN lines.On the base of embedded system, the design of the apply software for the terminal uses standard C , adopting the program designing idea of combining object oriented and process oriented. Terminals are used under the management of the specially constructed network administering center, just not used as independent equipment. Thereby, the communication subprogram is the very important tache in apply program designing.The information terminals based on ISDN discussed in this thesis are applied all over the country. It acquired great economic benefit and society benefit. The design scheme in this thesis provide right use for reference and guidance to apply of embedded system technology.
