This dissertation mainly introduces a method that design and implement a Real-Time operation system based on MSP430F148. MSP430F148 CPU is used as hardware platform, which is one of MSP430 series microprocessors produced by Tl Company. MSP430F148 is faced with fire-new challenge in application and design because the original former-background software design method confined it. In order to combine its powerful function with the more demands that people bring forward for IT products, we adopt Embedded Real-Time Operation System software design method that replaces previous former-background (super loop) method.RTOS is a new system design conception and an open software frame. It has operation system function that can control the whole Real-Time system and in order of importance and urgency of every task, it rationally assigns CPU and different resources holding time between them. It improves the service efficiency of CPU using semaphore, mailbox and so on Functions.This embedded Real-Time OS is composed four parts, including the design of hardware development platform, of software system, of MSP430FLASH series intercross compiler and of application system.We integrate the hardware system and software to develop a system in application to the calorimeter of central heating. This system runs successfully on the hardware platform. It has proved that the designed RTOS is succeeded running the application system. It has well stabilization and reliability and most important performance indexes achieve designed objective.We can foresee that RTOS will be abroad applied to embedded system design lately for nonsubstituent excellence of RTOS.
