Study On The Information Security Of E-records Produced In E-government Circumstance

E-government is the revolution of government management manner. Whether in construction or in function, e-government can produce lots of e-records. By these e-records' flowing and exchanging, E-government can carry out its every function. E-records possesses variety characteristics of digital information, such as depending on computer system, separating from carrier, high density storage, difficult to keep long deposit, and these characteristics can change e-records form easily, including adding, deleting, amending and reorganizing information structure, if we can not take some measures to protect e-records, they may alternate and not leave any trace. Besides these, the e-records produced in e-government circumstances deals with individual privacy and core government affairs of all levels party committee, government and national defence. They relates to interests of individual, party and government, every system and the whole country, some e-records even relates to nation security. So, if we can not protect the information security of e-records produced in the e-government circumstance because of many reasons, the advantages and high efficiency of e-government will not be guaranteed, and the nation security interest will be threaten. Therefore, maintaining the information security of e-records produced in e-government circumstance has important meaning.The paper discuss some issues of defending the information security of e-records produced in e-government circumstance in following six sections:Section 1: Introduce the connotation, system configuration, service object and its content, gradually development track and the e-government development actualities in China.Section 2: Discuss the relationship of e-government and e-records management.Section 3: Explain the signification of the information security of e-records produced in e-government circumstance and the important meaning of defending the information security of e-records produced in e-government circumstance.Section 4: Deeply analyze every risk factors which can threaten the information security of e-records produced in e-government circumstance.Section 5: Put forward strategies to defend the information security of e-records produced in e-government circumstance.
