The placement of equipment is usually vary , the 2D map have diffcult to display multi-layer device layout , especially when crossing among the layers .And the 2D map can't display the external appearance of the equipment.On the basis of three-dimensional space digital map, The paper apply three-dimensional model show and selection to research the application of digital map in equipment management,to search for a way to solve the above-mentioned problems.That three-dimensional digital map Brought into equipment management make man-machine interface of management system more friendly and convenient,and strengthen data performance ,and make management personnel on time, accurate get the spot information, at the same time equipments information melted into management system completely make the computer system takes the more positive function in business enterprise management.This paper use the VC++ programe to access SQL Sever database of equipments management ,and utilize the record in the database to combine the individual entity model into a scene map of the equipment. It utilize OpenGL to handle with the scene of drawing,and interacting between the scene and user.At all, equipment management information system combining 3D digital map with databasetechnology produce the management system of the equipment with digital map, and bring equipment placement information and appearance information into the category of equirment management. According to the usage of the technique of OpenGL and SQL Sever database, this paper design equipment management information system with digital map. And it takes some explorations in the way of equipment management visualization.
