Intelligent Buildings is developing with the rapid developments of Computer technology, modern communication technologies and automatic control technologies. Its rise and development are meeting to the social informationization and economy internationalization. Intelligent Building concept are widely spreading into house construction with the improvement of people living standard and development of the information-based society, and intelligent building has been proposed which can be called new concept or construction of intelligent house. In Intelligent Building, Ethernet technology has been emphasized in research and design for its many advantages, such as common communicating bus, cheap and widely being used and so on, and many IT corporations in the world are being in research on the integrated circuits which have the stack based on TCP/IP protocol. Although Ethernet has been widely used, it is only just at the beginning in Intelligent Building, and it will be main communicating bus. If Ethernet can be used as communicating bus in Intelligent Building, fast progress will be achieved and it will benefit to people life.This project is one of project programs of Beijing Shizhong Company, mainly devoting to Embedded WEB Server which can connect to Ethernet, RS485 Bus, CAN Bus, which can be applied to the system of auto-controlling building This system can far communicate with computer through Ethernet using TCP/IP protocol.The functions are listed as follows:The information of equipments which connected to RS485 or CAN Bus of our product can be acquired through IE or some special software on computer. Embedded Web Server acts as server when IE or software is being used to communicate with Embedded Web Server. Embedded Web Serve acts as client when the equipment on RS485 or CAN Bus send data to it. At this time Embedded Web Server will send inquiring signal to the Server on Ethernet in order to send the data it has accepted to the Server. So some important data can be sent to the monitoring computer when the fire warning devices are being trigged. Alarm will be set out to the duty people after computer analysis through special software, and urgent method will be executed according to the program(such as shut off the power on the fire spot or trigger the devices which are used to put out fire).All the content and main work of the paper are sum-up as follows:The paper consists of seven chapters.In chapter 1, we have introduced Intelligent Building history, current condition and all kinds of technology standard used in our country. At last main work and content has been proposed. In chapter 2, many kinds of field bus and communicating protocols have been explained, such as Lonworks Bus, CAN Bus, RS485 Bus, BACnet Bus and CEBus. Analysis of field Bus in Intelligent Building has been acquired, and we summarize the difference between field bus and Ethernet.In chapter 3, we introduce Embedded system history and conclude the necessary and research point of Embedded Web Server Technology. TCP connecting course, ARP protocol, HTTP protocol in TCP/IP have been introduced.In chapter 4, our hardware system has been demonstrated, a sketch map of hardware has given,and we have introduce the characters of W3100A, RTL8201, SJA1000 integrated circuits in system.In chapter 5, our software function has been explained , embedded real-time operating system uC/OS-II has been used during the design of the software. and some testing interfaces of it have been demonstrated.In chapter 6, we have summarized our work and some unresolved problems have been proposed.Now only basic functions of Embedded Web Server have been achieved, more powerful Embedded Web Server can be designed on the basic of our product. For example, a camera can be added to it, Embedded Web Server can compress and transport the image signal in order to acquire the image anywhere.
