This task comes from the plan of Harbin Rock Opto-electronic TechniqueCo.,LTD--the digital video transmitter and receiver used in industry and trafficsurveillance , which has been studied to transmit multi-channel video through a single fiber line . The task request a quadruplex system and the image quality must above 3.5 points in the 5 level quality evaluation system .Due to its wide applying range , video surveillance has attracted attention for many years .Video surveillance has the characteristics of intuitionistic, convenient, and abundant information . Go with the development of electronics and optical fiber communication technologies, and with the quantity of information transmitted becomes more and more large, the video surveillance system also evolution from single channel to multi-channel . The techniques changes from analog to digital . Quadruplex system has greatly saved the resource of optical fiber and induced the cost per video channel. At present, there already has several brands of commercial system of four channel video optical transmission system , so how to realize it in a low cost and high quality way becomes the keystone of this project.In this thesis , we use electronical TDM and optical WDM to realize a quadruplex system of digital video fiber transmission . And accomplished a two channel experiment circuit . At last we tested the capabilities of our system . Through experients , we proved the exactness and feasibility of the system .
