Network-based Teaching Decision Support System Based-on Dataware

With the frequently increasing and updating of knowledge and information in modern society,education of high quality and high efficiency is becoming an urgent requirement at large.The combining of learning-teaching theory and network technology produced the network-based education.lt can be a complementarity of normal education or becomes a standalone approach for education.As network-based education can improve the quality and efficiency of educational is becoming widely used.Since teaching is an art, at the same time, is a diverse decision process with the difference of teaching objects, it requires for highly innovative thinking and is not only a heavy and complicated working that includes considerable repetitive laboring,but also time-consuming and energy sapping.For the purpose of release teachers and let them focus their attention on the improvement of teaching quality, the best way is to utilize modern computer technology.One of the effective ways is to utilize relative computer technologies to offer an assistant platform supporting the network-based teaching.This paper just utilizes data processing technology and data anlaysing technology based-on DataWare to offer an teaching decision support platform for the manager of network-based teaching, which helps them comprehend the requirement of study from the students more quickly and more effectively, and more effectively organize the teaching materials and adjust the project of teaching to improve the quality of network-based teaching.This paper expatiates the status quo of DSS and relative technology,and discusses the requirement and feasibility importing the DSS based-on the DataWare in the network-based teaching.The development model of NTDSS is based on the spiral model of software engineering, and the research model of this paper is based on the technology of DataWare, DataMining and OLAP.This paper expatiates the research content of every technology and the realization in DSS, in addition, expatiates how todesign and take use of relative technologies to support the network-based teaching in this paper.The system is directed by the theory of decision,teaching,SE and ID and so on.
