Project Management Information System Based On WEB

MIS (Management Information System) is one of most important parts of computer application technology; moreover it is also an effective tool to run modern enterprise.With a project of developing MIS for enterprise, the thesis systematically illustrates the technology route and development process of MIS, which is based on kinds of development technology and analysis on system-structure and ways of development.On the system structure, the distribution structure is used, which unifies hardware , software and data resource distributed in different place to realize communication and resource share for different users on web.On development method, we use the Structured System Analysis and Design, which is used to analyze and design the system from up to down according to soft project theory, which takes the system development as a project. The paper describes the process including analysis , model design and system realization in detail.On development technology of the MIS, ASP is used to access database and process information by VBScript , JavaScript and ActiveX ; SQL Server can store and manage data by creating tables, views, procedures, triggers; IIS is applied to create system running environment; ADO, OLEDB are used to connect database with application program. For the security, MD5 is used to encrypt data; RBAC is designed for access control of users.The System can meet the need of complex query and statistic, which random selections are applied to them; moreover, it has flexible and convenient system management functions, which are included of data management , users management , news management and project management etc, are effective to improve the practicality of system.Since completion of development, the MIS has been running stably. Obviously, it achieves a great deal of economic and social value.
