The server room environment and the centralized monitoring system are indispensable for unmanned management or few-people on duty management. It can reduce the maintenance workload, cut the manpower cost, ensure the safe and reliable operation of the computer system and improve maintenance. Against this backdrop, this thesis explores the design and application of server room environment and server load centralized monitoring system based on technological standards on server room environment and management.First, this thesis introduces the inportance of server room monitoring and its development process. The thesis also analyzes diverse monitoring objects and requirements of server room monitoring system, indicates limitations of the traditional server room monitoring system and provides measures for further improvements. At last,the thesis reviewed the technical background of the technologys involved in the design.Second, this thesis describes and analyzes the system composition and the key components involved in the hardware system design. The relationship between the hardware system and design requirements is also explained. Key technologies involved are introduced and analyzed in the program theory part of the thesis.Last, the system design is illustrated from different aspects based on the data flow. It stresses the core function of MySQL in the whole design and then explains the applications and internal details of data producer and data consumer separately.In addition, this research uses external computer's browser to access the Apache server data page and manages to observe the monitoring data changes. It proves that the system functions well by testing the temperature message alarm function through external heating. It turns out that the system fulfils the design requirements and provides implications for similar research design carried out in the future.This thesis expands the research boundary in the following two aspects. First it integrates the embedded Web server develop environment and server information collection so that users can monitor the server environment in the real time without installing other softwares. Second, it not only reduces costs but also solve the problem of limited line laying space of the old data acquisition system. Third, it uses database to manage the monitoring data, thus it has an advantage in administrator's management analysis.
