The research on the computerized monitor and control system for broadcasting equipment is a complicated system engineering, which is an integrated one which includes broadcasting equipment monitor, automatically control, alarm and protect to this system, long distance monitor and control.On the basis of studying the current situation in the computerized monitor and control research field for broadcasting equipment, the content of this paper studies the DCS, PLC and LAN, designs a distributed automatically monitor and control system based on PLC and LAN. After thinking about the reality of the equipments of TAISHAN Broadcast Transmit Relay Station and the functional requirements of the computerized monitor and control system for broadcasting equipment, we introduce the overall scheme of design and draws out systematic structure sketch map in the thesis.The computerized monitor and control system for broadcasting equipment is composed of Local LAN, Control LAN and long distance management LAN, which can be separated into several portions according to the structure: data acquisition subsystem, host computer subsystem, duty monitor and control subsystem, report forms printing subsystem, database server subsystem, system time proofing subsystem, and so on. The main functions of this system are as follows: telemetry, telecommand and telecontrol the equipment, automatically switch on and off the equipment, automatically create report forms, giving an alarm when there's something wrong with the equipment automatically.The emphasis of this paper lays on the study the design of the web structure of the computerized monitor and control system, the main idea and design process for the web structure design of the computerized monitor and control system for broadcast equipment is discussed in detail. The design of the local LAN, the controlling LAN and the long-range managing LAN are carried out respectively according to their own functions and characteristics, and finally they are integrated as an organic whole. In addition, this paper analyses the security and the dependability of the computerized monitor and control system, as a result, a series of effective measures are worked out to ensure the system running steadily and reliably.
