The Application Of Database Management Information System Based On Three-Tiered Architecture

The development application of management information system(MIS) is springing up in the enterprises of our country. The development method of MIS must be scientific of standard to avoid the disordered, low-level and closed development. This article accords to two fact research works (House dismantled & posit management information system; Land development rehabilitation project management information system), the thesis studies application of three-tiered Client/Server and Browser/Server architecture for developing MIS using the thought of software engineering, presents a approach to realize the three-tiered architecture with COM(Component Object Model) technology. Well discusses the divided of function for every tier of the three-tiered architecture, presents technology & methods for engineering designing and every tier of the system implement. User tier is developmented with both faces of GUI(Graphics User Interface) and WEB, business logical tier is bult with MTS component, data serve tier is implemented by SQL Server 2000. In House dismantled & posit management information system, We use C/S architecture , Because of some character such as high-capability, high-efficiency, high-reliability, and so on . In Land development rehabilitation project management information system, We use B/S architecture, Because of some character such as easy using, easy service, easy extend, easy share, advanced security and so on .The modal of system development can be consulted by other work of MIS development and research.
