A Study On Construction In The Photo Archives Database Based On Web

Today, information technology and network technology are developed at full speed, how to use modernized technology to manage and exploit the archives collection and offer high-quality services to users is becoming a focus on archival research. Among numerous collection resources, the photo archives taking image as expression way are welcomed by users for their vividness. It is the best solution to manage and exploit the photo archives by building the database based on Web with large capacity, high speed and safe stability .Fully combining the photo archives' characteristic and according to the demand of the users and the archives, this dissertation has a study on some questions in the construction of the photo archives database.The dissertation is divided into five parts:1. On the basis of analysing the characteristic of the photo archives and their current situation of managing and utilizing , the dissertation explains the meaning and function of the construction of the photo archives database .2.
