In this paper I introduce the development of a digital System for Control and Monitoring of repeaters, extending radio networks coverage within buildings. The Control and Monitoring System include hardware and software. The MCU is kernel of the hardware. The CAN fieldbus is used for distributed communication between the MCUs. The software include MCU System and PC System. The PC System is design running on Microsoft Windows. The Connectivty of PC System to MCUs is via a NULL-Modem line or Modem through RS232 interface.Fieldbus is a open, digital, distributed communications network used in industry. The CAN fieldbus is introduced in this paper. The chip MCP2510 is used as the CAN controler.In the hardware using PIC16F876 as microcontroler. Some features and functions of the software developed running on PIC16F876 are: 1) implement a event queue and event dispatch machanism, 2)differ the code into two layer?system layer and application layer, 3)online programe updating, 4)implement CAN bus communication and protocol for communication.XML is used to describe the information of component in the System. The programe analyze the XML ducument and display the data. Discuss the influence of using of XML to the code quality .Indoor Coverage System is used to extend or increase the radio network coverage within building.The repeaters is main component of Indoor Coverage. It is necessary to monitor and remote control the running of repeaters. Repeaters Control and Monitoring system implement is based on the implement of a general control and monitoring system, which can be deploy and configure for special application.The functions of PC System is to communitcate with MCUs and display the statu data and general infomation of components to be monitored and controled. The user interface of the PC Sytem include :1) A tree control to display all component, 2)using tabcontrol to display information of a target component.3) designed user interface to monitor the communication between the PC with MCUs.
