The Research On The Running Mode Of Digital Library Realizing E-business

With information technology developing, the trend of digital information carrier and more information conveyed by network, traditional libraries which take books as their primary collection carrier are being challenged, and more and more don't suit for digital era's demand, so, it is the inevitable trend to establish digital library. The construction of digital library not only brings great changes on traditional library, but also it has deep effect on the transmitting of human being culture. Computer technology, .digital technology, net technology and related high-tech offer great help to digital library. Digital information carrier has great capacity but small volume, which will save much space for the library. The traits of remote and high speed to gain information, powerful search and query, and shared resource make the library reality, which improve the efficiency that human being acquires datum. Based on theory and practice, the paper interprets the digital /library can realize the e-business activities in a common way.This thesis consists of three chapters.Chapter one, the overview of digital library. We introduce the origin and development of digital library, analyze it's deeply social root, and then conclude the mode and traits of digital library. Combining the current technology, we describe briefly the running mode of digital library.Chapter two, brief analysis of E-business. We introduce E-business historyand technology, analyze the differences between E-business and traditionalbusiness comparatively and emphases to discuss the realization of payment system.Chapter three, the Running Mode of Digital Library Realizing E-business. The theory that digital library can realize the E-business activities in digital library, the necessity of realizing e-business in digital library and the modes of realizing e-business activities in digital library particularly analyzes.The conclusion of this thesis: With the development of computer network and information technology, digital library catches more and more people's eyes. Digital library is a real shared resource and global library. It goes beyond the idea of "a place" and is closer to people's ideal. It is helpful for fulfilling the library duty of knowledge store and transfer. With the maturity of E-business technology, it becomes possible to utilize E-business technology to digital library, which is analyzed in detail. It is reasonable to believe that E-business technology initiate a new stage for digital library.
