Fund Valuation Systems running in many Fund Companies and banks are responsible for their daily fund valuation routines, especially, for keeping business records and issuing various reports. Financial markets continue to force suppliers of financial services and products to design and implement more defective solutions to ever flexible and creative financial problems and transactions. As a result, it is very important to refine the flexibility, reuse and maintenance of such systems to promote service quality and market shares.During the experiences of two projects about Fund Valuation System in Financial Institution of Neusoft Company, I find that in an attempt to provide the flexibility, reuse and maintenance of the Fund Valuation System is confronted with the following challenges:Once a new fund product or new business transaction is perceived, the Fund Valuation System must be able to react quickly with adequate support. The lack of a reusable framework of such software applications. The construction of frameworks for a specific problem domain is a key issue of using object technology on a large scale. As a first step in this direction, the paper iteratively refectories the design models using Agile software development methods, deign patterns, and Test Driven Development Methods. This paper refines the design framework by interactively developing UML diagrams, test codes and product codes. The rest of the paper is organized as follows: In section 1, the paper presents the application background. Section 2 give an introduction to the rudimentary knowledge of funds business, and section 3 shed some light on the current situation concerning software support. Section 4 goes into the details of a fund valuation system framework. Section 5 summaries the experiences of the designing and development of the framework and the last part, section 6 recaps the main achievement of this paper and future improvement.
