The Application And Research Of Integrated Multi-format Spatial Data Based On WebGIS

With the development and popularization of Internet, Information sharing becomes more necessary, not exception to geographic information. While because the Data object of geographic information system is spatial Object, and the ways of obtaining data are also complex and multiplex, so the format of original data becomes various. Thus the question of information-shared of GIS stands out.In this paper, based on the project background of WebGIS, the characteristic and the general conformity methods of spatial data are analyzed, the theory of sharing and interoperability of multi_format spatial data is introduced, compared with all kinds of application modes and technologies of WebGIS, we develop one WebGIS system based on Java virtual machines according to the need of users. In this system, the technologies of middle-object architecture such as JSP, JavaBean and Servlet have been adopted, and the management of spatial data platform is based on Oracle Spatial of Oracle company ,using it to store spatial data of GIS and property data, and to realize the unitary management of data. In this way, we come up with a feasible method to share and operate data between systems. On the last stage of development, XML/GML is used for exchanged style of spatial data and choosing the platform of MapXtreme in Mapinfo Company as the map server, we finish the corresponding functions of WebGIS and carry point of the user's needs and catch the aim of the research.
