Now the resource preservation quantity of sweet potato in our country about 2000 collections, the Xuzhou research center of sweet potato now preserves about 1200. Since "65" , we have done a large of research work, devided 4 parts according to research content: information of background (include family name, generic name, scientific name, habitant native land, origin, conservation unit, cluster, type), agronomic character (include sprouting habit, growth potential of young seeding, tip leaf shape, color of tip leaf, leaf shape, leaf color, leaf vein color, basis vein color, basis leafstalk color, vane size, stem color, stem tip pubescence, stem diameter, base ramify, stem length, plant type, potato color, potato flesh color, drying rate, green top image, root image), resistance identification (include black spot disease, stem nematode disease, root rot disease, bacterial wilt disease, stem root disease, weevil, drought tolerance, store tolerance, salt tolerance ), identification of quality analysis (include content crude starch, crude protein, solubility sugar of fresh potato and drying potato). Adopt Visual FoxPro 6.0 program language, with object oriented programming, devise the sweet potato germplasm database management system, this program function is modularization, menu easy to manage and operate, man-machine interface is friendly.
