Multi-Agent System-based Business Intelligence System And Its Information Search Engine Research

With the constant increasing of information, Persons and enterprises face the great challenge of information process, "How to transfer the right information to the right person in the right time" is becoming the one of the hottest problems. The traditional business intelligence technology support to be a simple frame, but it doesn't means that the problem has been completely solved. The effect of traditional BI doesn't satisfy with what we want.The traditional BI is based on the technologies of Data Warehouse (DW), On-Line Analytical Processing (OLAP) and Data Mining (DM), so it focuses on the technology solution, and is shorted of the manage thinking. Because DM is a sustainable technology, so one of the most important aspects is to developing algorithms; meanwhile, the users of DM is specialist, so they don't think in the common ways, that will become a gap between customers and the decider.To solve the problems mentioned above, the author of this paper combines the Multi-Agent System (MAS) with the BI technology, in order to improve the performance of traditional BI.Agent is an autonomic program or entity, which can realize the purposes of the designers or the users. And it also can solve the problems through the cooperation of several agents (MAS). So it can sufficiently embody the conception of intelligence-provide the information on the demand.MAS based business intelligence system has the feature of agent, and it also combines the technologies of DM, DW and OLAP. As a result, it can provide a power tool to integrate the information in the enterprise, or even out the enterprise, and extract the knowledge by virtue of DM tool of the BI; therefore, it can offer the key means to increase the knowledge management system. In the process of DM, cyncretic information and knowledge management is become the key point, so the information search and gathering are the cored part in the MAS based BI system.In order to study fatherly in the MAS based BI system, the author of this paper constitutes a MAS based information search engine. At last, the author simulates the feasibility of the MAS based BI system, and gives a solution in the banking.
