The Research Of Vxibus Based Radio Direction Finding Processor

RDF (Radio Direction Finding) is not only playing an important role in thearea of civil radio monitoring and management, but also used indispensably inmodern military Electronic Warfare. A new modularized VXIbus based RadioDirection Finding Processor is proposed with exploring the actual technology ofRadio direction finding and VXIbus in depth. This have very importantsignificance to our country's economy and national defence.The hardware platform, designed by the author, can implement variousradio direction finding principles . Various radio direction finding principles areresearched in this paper, and Correlative Interferometer principles areimplemented in the VXIbus based hardware platform.This thesis includes the hardware design of messaged_based interface, thehardware of functional circuit of radio direction finding , the realization of theword serial transfers, the translating of SCPI commands and the programme ofVXIbus based instrument driver. When the author designed the hardware ofmessaged_based interface, reuse of the interface is considered by the author.Therefore, the hardware of messaged_based interface can be reused in otherVXIbus based modules.
