This paper first represents the current developing state and earlier study of predictive control, and second represents the modern predictive control with its studying orientation and developing trend, then mainly analysizes the model predictive control system, last discusses implementation of PC-based model predictive control system (MPC )simulating package. This package is made up of MAC, IMAC, DMC, DDMC and GPC. Comprehensive predictive control system including the effects of disturbs on the systems and the functions of regulating parameters of the controllers can be simulated by using different algorithms. The model predictive control system's principals can be analyzed by simulation using this package. Furthermore, the effects of design parameters in different algorithms on properties of system and the differences of algorithms can also be gained, and it can be used as a teaching software.
