In this thesis, the author researches and designs the core module (customer segmentation module) of the package analysis and management system which analyzing the business practices of customers for HeBei Mobile Communication Company. With this system, HBMCC can deal with the increasingly fierce competition in the mobile communications market and provide customers more personalized services.Firstly, the author introduces the design process and data mining of the customer segmentation module, descript the relationship between customer segmentation and data mining, and introduces the mainly used methods and tools. Secondly, the author analyses the sample data using cross industry standard process for data mining(CRISP—DM) and founds theoretical model through six major steps. Finally, the author introduces the design of modules, interfaces and database, and gives the implementation of functions for the core module.In this thesis, the author describes the demand analysis, system design, key technologies and details.The author experienced the entire process of project analysis, design, developing, testing and acceptance, took charge of modeling, architecture design, progress control and management, testing and acceptance, and focused on the design of core module.Modules founded in the thesis enrich the method of customer segmentation, which is an expansion for this area. The research on customer segmentation of telecom provides premise and guarantee for product design and marketing.
