Workflow Platform Of Based Distributed-Message-Middleware

In order to support large-scale workflow management under the inter-enterprise isomerous computing environment, the capability of current workflow management system should be extended in different aspects to improve system reliability, retractility and security. On the basis of deep study the current technology of workflow, a new method is proposed in this paper, which is to utilize a distributed message middleware to implement distributed running of workflow engines. Then the framework and principles of the distributed message middleware are discussed in detail. Furthermore, a new, simple and effective design of workflow model which is used for the modeling of business flows is proposed by using directed activity graph in this paper. And the implement details of the workflow engine based the model are also described. With the help of the above work, our workflow platform can be naturally constructed. Our platform has an advantage over the other workflow management systems in the aspects of supporting large-scale applications, retractility usability and expansibility. Finally, the paper discusses the further problems to study and the improvements of the model and the framework.
