The vulnerable groups have already become the focus that academia has paid close attention to, but there is still less one that carried on research in terms of mass media. In view of this, this text has discussed the relevant problem that mass media pays close attention to the vulnerable groups. Mass media regards general masses on the society as the target to produce extensive information and propagate, this has proved that under the social great environment, medias' impact on the vulnerable groups has its certainty. Mass media go on constant concern and support the vulnerable groups, but during the process of paying close attention to and support, manifest some weak points such as ignore, discrimination, the distorted phenomenon etc. The solution to these problems needs mass media to make joint efforts with the vulnerable groups: On one hand, mass media should follow certain principle while paying close attention to the vulnerable groups, carry on the media reform rationally, and strengthen employees' quality construction, on the other hand, the vulnerable groups should accept the education from the media rationally , and supervise the media actively.
