With the developing of society, the environment and ecology becoming worse and worse, it has increasingly threaten the living and development of human being. In order to protect the environment and prevent the deterioration, the first and most important step is to inspect the change of environment and collect the accurate data in time.This thesis was basing on the project of Shanghai Jiben Electronic Instrument Co. Ltd. This paper put forward the whole devise project after the analyse of latest research all over the world and the structure introduction of the environment inspect network. After the study of correlative theory and latest research result, the thesis focuses on the designing of up-system ,sub-system and the remote communication between them. The thesis analysed the several communication ways between up-system and sub-system, then discussed the communication rule when the up-system in a passive state, it was basing on the queue theory of communication.The data collect system is composed by MCU and assistant circuit, it can collect environment data with multiplex channel, then store the environment data and transmit the data to the up-system. At the same time, operator can check the data or set up parameter by keyboard and LCD. During the course of designing the sub-system, this thesis introduced the hardware circuit principle and the design method in detail. When design the software, this paper introduced the designing plan and method in detail, it presented the software flow charts and part of important program. ADuC812 was a new data collect system chip with 12 bit, it has high integration and high precision. At the same time, it has a good capability and a cheap price. After studied the theory and the Qucikstart Development System, this paper bring forward the design method of sub-system using ADuC812.The communication between up-system and sub-system was through MODEM and phone-line. The sub-system use AT commands to control the MODEM communication.The up-system use MSComm to achieve communication.When design the up-system, this thesis introduced the theory and method of MSComm communication, then present the function and design process of communication module, data display module, data manage module and data analyse module. The control software was designed by Visual C++6.0, all the function were shown in one interface, this paper present some main program. In this project, it use database to manage data, so it can easily solve the problem that if use the common files to manage the data, it will occupy many system source, even induced the program breakdown. After repeatedly debugging and perfection, the author achieved all the functions of up-system, that is communication with the sub-system, the display of up-send data, data store manage and the create of report forms or curves after data analyse.The system achieved the function that auto collect of environment data, data transmit and manage in real time. It has a high real time work ability and a high automation degree, it's cost was low, so it can adapt the request of modern inspect of environment. It can used in many department which need inspect in real time, such as weather, electric power, water and so on.
