The Ladle furnace(LF) is important secondary refine device in steel making. During the process, the follwing task must be done:(1) Desulphur(2) Temperature control(3) The fine adjust of chemic analysis (4) Making the steel more clear(5) Slag makingIn order to implement the following main function, the LF process computer system should be designed :(1) To dynamic plan LF process according to recived heat schedule.(2) To Real-time tracke LF process according the heat.(3) To give operator some tip and implement process optimize by taking the result of metallurgy model.(4) Provide the final process data to next working procedure.(5) the query function of historical process dataThis thesis first describes LF process principle, and discuss LF process computer system structure and definition according to the requirement of control and manage of LF process. The second thing is that, for the communiction of the process computer system and basic automation system, the thesis describes OPC communication principle, and reference the SIEMENS OPC server ,finaly the solution of real data communiction for LF process computer has been bringed forward. The third thing is that, the RTDBMS has been designed base on the function of LF process computer.The keystone of the thesis is desigened appliction software of LF process computer. So, the outline of appliction software first be described, and discuss the working step of appliction software. Finaly the thesis stressed the point that the software flowchart of the process tracking.Success in designing of LF process computer have brought the large economic and social benefits! The succeed example of use high technology and To have importance for collect the knowledge of PANGANG LF.
