The Application Of Component Technology In Guizhou Telecom General Settlement System

Component technology has been maturely utilized in foreign countries, and researches on and application of this technology is also very prosperous in China. Here, we introduce the concept, characteristics, major implementation method, development processes and principles of component technology. This thesis puts forward the application models and solutions of Guizhou Telecom General Settlement System by using component technology, and the existing mature middleware product, according to the characteristics of Guizhou Telecom General Settlement System and its implementation requirements. It also focuses on the key approach of speedy construction of system software platform, expansion of system hardware and software, parallel process and load balance, heterogeneous data processing and data transmission, etc. In this article, we have detailed discussions on the logic structure, the functional modules and the major system implementation methods of the General Settlement System. The structure of Guizhou Telecom General Settlement System is divided into data layer, business layer, middle layer and portal layer. As regard to the specific implementation, it adopted 2/3 tier mixed structure. The system uses BEA's TUXEDO transaction middleware, and a CORBA-based technology, to construct the component platform, and achieve the communication, message and queue management between components. It also uses BEA's TUXEDO transaction middleware and associated database partition technology to conduct the data input parallel processing and load balance, and resolve the processing bottleneck problem of large volume data input and the problem of smooth expansion of hardware and software. By using BEA's Message communication middleware, the system ensures the reliable data transmission of the collected data from each district and county. With the third party PATROL management system provided by BMC, it becomes possible to conduct centralized monitoring and control of the system host, networks and applications. The solution divides the business logic layer into business basic component and business functional component. Business functional components are constructed flexibly according to the difference of each business process, and are triggered by the controlling interface to finish the business processing. It also resolves the problems of too many business models, fast changing status and heterogeneous data, and enables the objective of constructing the system steptep. The article finally puts forward a lot of discussions and improvement solutionsfor the existing defects of lacking of large volume data transmission and parameter driving flexibilities in the system.
