With the rapid development of Internet and the constant improvement of various communication equipments, a software which makes users share files between various networks and computers is needed. On the other hand, it must limit the share of files in order to assure safety. However, at present, few good softwares meet the requirement. The File Share System By Group just tries to deal with this problem. This dissertation introduces the process of File Share System By Group in its entirety. The File Share System By Group which is a three-tier application realizes the file share between two computers. To develop the system, such techniques as the multi-thread, ADO, Winsock and XML, are involved. Compared with other similar systems, it is a high real-time system, and it can retransfer files between two computers from the latest file transfer break point, and makes file resources in the system be shared by group. The thesis includes four chapters. The first chapter introduces in brief the functions, architecture and characteristics of the system. The second chapter reviews the theories the system based on. The third chapter shows in details how to define and analyze the system with the Use Case technology and how to use the Unified Software Development Process to develop the system. It also illuminates the database design. The last chapter gives in details the implementation of the system, including a full account of custom files, some import modules and the realization of key use cases, and the methods of how to control the number of threads and to make local resource be consistent with the server's.
