The Design And Implement Of Enterprise Mail Custom End System Based On Symbian OS

With the communication technology highly developed, enterprise mail develops rapidly. Supporting the mobile subscriber, leting user obtain latest enterprise mail information becomes an important and urgent problem. There have been lots of tries, but still have some difficulty to form a very perfect solution. This paper gives a more perfect solution -realizing enterprise mail' s customer end system at cell- phone .This paper introduces the characteristics of the cell-phone operating system - Symbian OS and some design patterns, and the Message Type Modules of Symbian OS; analyses some mail protocols, and designs Mobile Email protocol, and describe the protocol with XML; realizes enterprise mail' s customer end system on the basis of the Message Type Modules of Symbian OS.
