Application Of Data Mining In Environmental Information Management

Data are rapidly expanding in the information exploding society. The production, filtration, storage and using of data have become one important topic of information society. The traditional database management system cannot use and analyze the quantity data better in the database, but data mining and data warehouse technology can solve the problem well.The thesis chooses "application of data mining in environmental information management" as the topic. Firstly it gives a synthetically comment to the study and application of data mining technology; Secondly it briefly summarize the application of environmental information management technology in our country; Thirdly it proposes the application scheme of data mining technology in environmental information management, and relatively detailed discusses the steps such as setting up of data warehouse, data pretreatment and choice of the algorithm; Fourthly it has a detailed study and deeply analysis combining the medical waste information management current situation in Tianjin; At last it makes the first step study theoretically on the application of data mining to discover knowledge from spatial information.The study of this paper does a helpful attempt for the data mining technology to apply in the environmental information management. And at the same time it also proposes a feasible method for fully utilize the magnanimity data in the environmental information management system to offer decision.
