A design method of a wireless MIMO link based on polarization antenna array & V-BLAST algorithm is presented in this paper. Compared with some typical systems, the results of channel capacity analysis of MIMO channel are given. Aimed at the confined condition in this system and the special polarization mode of electromagnetic field in multi-path environment, the architecture with polarization antenna array is proposed. The structure of the antenna array is given. Also, the feasibility of this structure is proved through computer simulation and channel transfer characteristic measurement. The relevant signal processing algorithm is discussed, with emphasis on the array combining, symbol cancellation, optimal detection ordering. Finally the overall performance is analyzed and discussed.
