Many scholars have a lot of researching on the capacity of MIMO system. There is very few apply to a designed antenna for the computation capacity, and this paper is to discuss this.A dual-polarized omni-directional antenna is presented which provides low correlation between channel elements, in order to achieve high capacity. The channel capacity simulations show that although linear polarized TX and RX antennas provide higher capacity when they are polarization matched, dual-polarized antennas provide better performance when an arbitrary orientation is considered. The capacity of a Multiple-Input Multiple-Output(MIMO) system depends on the channel matrix as well as the Signal-to-Noise ratio. The correlation between channel matrix elements of the presented channel model and the statistical Kronecker model is also compared. We find that the Kronecker model is similar to the"one-ring"model. Then emulating a dual-polarized antenna. Getting the directivity of the dual-polarized antenna from the simulation. These results are used for calculating channel capacity. Finally a novel dual-polarized planar channel model with one scattering rings is used to compare the capacity of different antenna arrays. When there have different scatterings, calculating channel capacity using the above data.
