With the increase of recruit students in colleges and universities in China, the number of graduatesexpands each year. The appearance of employment market for students leads to the over-expanded processing data for employment guidance. It becomes more and more difficult for manual operations to satisfy the needs of the employment guidance and management. Further, the existing employment system has numerous defects: the variance in data structure, which leads to the data communication inconvenience, data redundancy, and bad enlargement; the system cannot provide the remote data release and on-line query because of the lack of the use of employment Web. With the rapid development of computer science, network, communication technology, especially the development of the Internet, the connections among the government departments, universities, and employers are becoming more and more close. As a result, it can be seen that it is the general trend to plan, manage, analyze and make decisions for the graduate management operations through computer and human resource website.According to the merits and defects of C/S & B/S patterns, the thesis designs and implements the employment management system based on the characteristics and development trend of graduate employment management operations. The C/S pattern can be used in the limited-ranged operations which are characterized by high security, high frequency of data processing, heavy transmission of data, good mutual-communication and fixed-places, such as the input and maintenance of graduate information, the management of code table, data backup and recovery. Whereas, the B/S pattern can be used in the wide-ranged operations, which are characterized by low security requirement and mutual-communication, and flexible places, such as the release of requirement, the query of graduate information, on-line registration of graduate data and all kinds of query and statistic. In this way, the system includes the merits of C/S & B/S patterns, meets the needs of the different operations in the existing employment management system and brings the expansibility to the new system operation requirement.The thesis introduces the system framework and characteristics of C/S & B/S patterns, discusses the feasibilities and advantages of the graduate employment system based on the mixture pattern and the related technology that realizes the system framework, offers the detailed design and realization based on the mixture of C/S & B/S patterns, which includes system requirement analysis, data workflow, database design, the system framework, network architecture graph, function module graph, system security measures and the application of the related technology in system design. At last, it provides several ways for system improvements and the prospect of the system.
