Supply and marketing are two important segments of manufacturer's operating activity. The quality of outsourcing material affects the quality of the semi-product and product directly. And marketing is the window for enterprise to know the customer's requirement and satisfaction. This dissertation makes a profound research on the metric system and method evaluating the supplier's performance and the method of customer management. Considering the specialty of a bearing manufacturer and applying six sigma methodology, the dissertation studies on and develops the quality management information system, for supply and marketing.The whole dissertation is divided into seven chapters:Chapter one introduces the present status of the research of supplier quality management (SQM) and customer satisfaction management (CSM), discusses the significance establishing the quality management information system for the supply and marketing and then put forward theresearch topic of this dissertation-Research and development of the quality managementinformation system for the supply and marketing of the bearing manufacturer.The assessment of supplier's performance is the key of the SCM. Based on the analysis the conclusion of much research and considering the specialty of bearing manufacturer, the metric system evaluating the supplier's performance is put forward.This chapter study on the method of evaluating the supplier. Based on the analysis the many evaluating methods and considering the specialty of evaluating the supply, a evaluation model which is the integration of data envelopment ana!ysis(DEA) and real data analysis is put forward. Example is given to illustrate how to use this model.In chapter four, the general customer satisfaction(CS) and the CS based on Kano's model are studied respectively. The metric and the method evaluating the general CS are studied especially, then a example is given to illustrate to evaluating the general CS. Then the CS based on Kano's model is studied. The quality attribute investigation about bearing enterprise is analyzed at last.Considering the specialty of bearing manufacturing enterprise and using the principle and method of designing information system, based on the analysis of the feasibility and requirement of this information system, in chapter five, we discuss the structure of this information system based on Internet/Intranet, and give the function module of it.Based on above analysis, in chapter six we discuss the program structural module, illustrate the function of each module, develop the prototype system of the quality management information system, and finally we describe the application analysis with examples.In the end, chapter seven makes a conclusion of the whole dissertation and puts forward the future research in this field.
