In this paper, the design and research on supervisor system of Hybrid Electric Vehicle (HEV) experimental system is introduced, the design and construction of HEV experimental station is also discussed.The entire control system of HEV experimental station is made up of supervisor system, running control system and manual control system. The key hardware of supervisor system is an industrial control personal computer. And due to the nature of the data acquisition, three data acquisition circuit board are adopted. They are voltage to digit data converting circuit board, current to digit data converting circuit board and digit data input/output circuit board. These circuit boards are used to acquire the main running parameter of HEV experimental bed and to control the output of alarm message. In order to simplify the wire connection and signal conditioning, three piece of interface circuit boards correspondence to the three data acquisition circuit boards are equipped, and a wire connection box is also designed to contain them.The supervisor program is developed on Delphi5. 0 which is an excellent product of BORLAND Corp. And the program can be running on the WIN98 environment. During the design of software, the OOP method is adopted, and the technology of multi-thread and database is also used. The program 's interface is attractive. And the program is designed to convenient for using. The functions of supervisor system include data sampling and showing in real time, data saving, data printing, data showing through curve graph, alarm by sound and lamp. The running control function is accomplished through communicating with sub-computer.The experimental research has also been done in this paper. The experimentation proof that the design of supervisor system is workable.The HEV system discussed in this paper applies the technology of computer controlling. This is helpful to improve and develop the high performance HEV propulsion system of energy-saving and environment-protecting ability in our country.
