The Research Of Railway Locomotive's And Rolling Stock's Virtual Prototype System

With the development of computer technique, virtual reality technique and CAD technique, which are the important part of computer graphics, are also developing quickly.At abroad, virtual reality technique and CAD technique are playing a important role in manufacture's complex models' design and research.In our country, virtual reality technique which applied to railway locomotive is at the stage of searching, and the application of three-dimensional CAD technique on railway locomotive and rolling stock mainly focuses on three-dimensonal solid modeling . finite element analysis, building standardized component library, and so on. Overall three-dimensional design on the whole passenger train is also at the stage of searching. This thesis develops the locomotive virtual driver sub-system and three-dimensional parametric CAD system on the steel structure of passenger train body. It not only improves design efficiency and quality, but also fits in with development require of modern technique.This thesis, which is developes and runs on Windows 2000 professor platform, finished a lot of work, such as in railway locomotive virtual drive's sbu-system: a real-time model of railway locomotive by MultiGen Creatorthe, railway locomotive virtual drive's initial work by Vega graphics interface LynX, the railway locomotive virtual drive process by compile C application program which is the second development to Vega with VC++6.0 as a developing toolkita; such as in the steel structure of passenger train body's three-dimensional parametric CAD sub-system: passenger train body steel structure' part and assembly model library with the strong creating mode' ability of Pro/ENGINEER2000i, a C second development application program to Pro/ENGINEER by using Pro/TOOLKIT's functions with VC++6.0 as a developing toolkit, a user-friend interface which is developed by using VC++6.0 as developing tool.
