Railway rolling stock anti-running device is the important equipment in railwayoperation security management because railway rolling stock slipping may result in seriouscasualties and property loss. An information system monitoring railway rolling stockanti-running device will greatly improve the security of train operation, not only in workefficiency but also in the work convenience. Nowadays, more and more railway companiesare in great need of such anti-running device management system to meet their businessneeds. This paper brings forward an information system base on RF wireless communicationtechnology. By the railway rolling stock anti-running device system,railway staff are ableto supervise the state of the anti-running device through the display screen. This paper listsout seven wireless communication technology and analyses three of them. This papersuggests to adopting2.4GHz CYRF7936series of the CYPRESS Corporation to realize theanti-running device wireless communication system. We hope this case would become amodel or a reference for the railway companies who have similar needs.In the introduction chapter, we will mainly introduce the background of the topic in thispaper, the source of this topic and give a brief introduction to all the products in this field, andlist out their advantages and disadvantages. Moreover, we will indicate what we shouldrealize in the information system.The following chapter is about the wireless communication technologies, including the current development of each technology: its concept, basic architecture and reference model.In the third chapter, System Requirements and Planning, detailed description andanalysis would be given to each part in the system. We also would define the systemperformance in efficiency, security, reliance and convenience. Based on these, systemarchitecture would be set up, which contains system modules and database structures.The fourth\fifth\sixth chapter is the key section of this paper. We will introduce how toconfigure CYRF7936\ATMEGA168.In general, in this paper, we will apply the wireless communication technology in theanti-running device monitoring system, and realized a satisfactory system of both highefficiency and security. It would be great if our efforts could be an example or reference toother railway companies.
