| Modern Container Inspection System is a key weapon of anti-smuggling, preventing cheating on customs declaration and anti-terrorism for Container/freight inspection at border crossings, seaports, airports, and container depots. In order to ensure the system can work with high security, high stability, high dependability, the distributed control system based on ProfiBus network and high performance synchronization control algorithm of Moving Gantry are needed.This paper presented the control system of some kind Cobalt-60 Container Inspection System with Moving Gantry and the preliminary study on synchronization control algorithm of Moving Gantry. As the servocontrol system cost too much and the performance of general frequency conversion control system on AC Motor is not satisfactory, here mostly make some discussion on PHD control strategy and fuzzy control algorithm and their application in frequency conversion control system in order to improve the precision. In this paper, the following work has accomplished: designed the whole distributed network control system based on the FieldBus protocol of Profibus; accomplished the two function of manual and hand control modes which have applied the combined arithmetic of PID and fuzzy control algorithm to meet the high precision of synchronization control as long as the low velocity change; Meanwhile, due to the high security, high stability, high dependability and convenient maintenance of this system, the communication of network data, the sel-diagnosis of system trouble, the interlocking device of high security are also fully achieved. Finally, this system has been successfully applied in custom. And all of the feedback information shows that the combine arithmetic has improved the system performance and the whole control system based on Profibus network is sound and reliable especially fulfilled the need of modern custom work.
