The Research And Application Of C/S Pattern In Monitoring System

This paper works on the design and realization of distributed monitoring system. In the beginning part of this paper, several primary designing points are firstly put forward. As for distributed monitoring system compared with centralized monitoring system and configuration system, this paper brings forward its structure of network and its framework mainly based on the C/S pattern, which depends on the distributed component technology. Three points are emphasized in the paper. First, the ideology of classifying the data and unifying the interfaces of using data is presented in consideration of how to accomplish data transmission. Second, three ways to get data, respectively from the local, from the remote and from the Web, are discussed for the purpose of data access. And third, several techniques aiming at the quality of realtime data are put forward, including the use of realtime database and the optimization of server performance. After summarizing the finished work, some designing methods and applied fields in the future are also discussed. With the help of current technology and software architectures available in the distributed system, a solution of distributed monitoring system that can be applied in more fields, is proposed in the last part of this paper.
