Design And Realization Of The Measuring And Control Software Of The 3-D Scan System

Three-dimensional (3-D) scan technology is a three-dimensional measurement. Compared with traditional measurement technology, it can not only finish three-dimensional measurement about the point, line and surface of complex objects but also provide quick, precise measurement without contact. 3-D scan technology plays a very important role in many fields such as national defense, industry, medicine and so on. The measuring and control software is one of the most important parts of the 3-D scan system. The main work and result is outlined as follows:1. The signification of 3-D scan technology, its main fields of application and developing status are presented in this paper firstly. Several usual approaches of acquiring 3-D information and the key technology of 3-D scan, such as the control technology of hardware, the acquire technology of 3-D information, the technology of 3-D reconstruction and technology of software, are reviewed.2. The software and hardware composing of the 3-D scan system is introduced. The realization of the basic functions of the measuring and control software is described, include parameter configuration, scan control, data display, data storage, data transmission and so on. It is proved that the basic functions of the software satisfied requirements and passed the function test.3. The function of data transmission of the measuring and control software is realized by Windows Sockets communication application. The software and hardware environments and the basic approach of developing the Windows Sockets network communication application are presented. The key techniques of developing Windows Sockets communication application using Visual C++ are introduced in detail.
