At present, Web Services, which is known as the third revolution of IT technology in computer field, has increasingly appear to be marketable, while the software sector are preparing to burst into a great change. Since WWW appears, this is an unparalleled change with greatly potential commercial opportunities. Technology and application mode can provide double protection to turn commercial opportunities into reality. The development in Web Service technologies is to spur growing and completing of the Web Services applications. While the application mode of Web Services is useful for commercial use both in providing a guidance and prompting the popularity. That the applications of the Web Services on the EAI and the implementation of the Web Services on the J2EE platform is mainly introduced in this paper, which also involving the developing process and the solution design of the BSMIS basing on the architecture discussed above.Web Services, on some aspect, is a programmable object deployed on the web in essence, of which all of the technologies and architecture are based on the object-oriented theory. In this paper, the main-flow factor is web services technology, around which the related basic conception and the critical technologies are discusses one by one, such as XML, XML Schema, SOAP, WSDL, UDDI, WS-Inspection, WS-Security, WS-Routing. It also discusses implementation of the EAI solution using Web Services on the J2EE developing platform, proposing to describe the technologies and thought of the solution to the points. In the following, the paper introduces a business support management information system, short name being BSMIS, that the author developed. BSMIS adopts browser/server structure, breaking the limit of the Intranet.lt also benefits the mobile working and remote working mode. BSMIS is based on the open J2EE architecture, realizing the communications between different systems. In client site, it only needs a web browser to operate the system, needing none of the specified software. All of the codes are located on the server site so that it is convenient to maintain the codes. This paper is organized as following: Firstly, why web services is needed is given. Chapter 2 introduces the basic conception of the web services and the main protocols needed in Web Services. Chapter 3 introduces the application of the web services on the EAI solutions. Chapter 4 introduces realization of the Web Services on the J2EE platform. Chapter 5 introduces main courses indesigning and developing the BSMIS and the flow chart of the BSMIS . Chapter 6 introduces the detailed design of the BSMIS and the main difficulties met during the developing process and the solutions to the problems. In the last chapter, conclusions are made about the whole paper, and the bright future is expected in the end.
